The Consumer Electronic Show - or CES 2016 is a leading electronics and technology trade show, which had some interesting and exciting announcements from industry leading camera manufacturers. And, as we’re all about cameras ourselves, it’s only fitting that we share this information with our network or photography enthusiasts.

The Low Down

Nikon have hit the ground running with the unveiling of the ultra cool Nikon KeyMission 360 camera. This compact camera has dual sensors and lenses to allow the user to capture 360 degree images. It also has a durable waterproof casing, which can be submerged up to 30 meters.

Other exciting CES 2016 announcements from Nikon include:

  • The D5 - Along with lightning fast response rate made possible with an all new AF system, the D5 delivers high-speed continuous shooting at 12fps. The stable viewfinder makes it a lot easier to track moving objects while the higher ISO sensitivities produce excellent images.
  • The D500 - With the ability to capture stunning 4K UHD video at 30p there’s no denying that this is a must-have piece of equipment. To sweeten the deal, the robust design includes a 3.2 inch high resolution and a tilting screen that allows users to interact with playback.
  • SB-5000 Speedlight - The controls of this generation of speedlight have been refined so that users can enjoy taking shots instead of fumbling with controls. A new cooling system prevents the device from overheating, which means that the amount of flashes you can get has increased.
