BXRi 250 /500

• Visual-Flash-Control or ‘VFC’ mode switches off the modelling lamp whilst the flash unit recharges after a flash has fired. This function gives a visual check that all the studio flash units have fired and this mode can be activated together with the Ready Charge beep for maximum control
• Proportional Modelling lamp Setup or ‘PMS’ is useful when using a flash setup with compact flashes of different powers, the modelling lamp can be reduced to -1 f-stop for better visual proportionality
• Eye-Cell Automatic & Manual mode avoids incorrect synchronisation with the camera. Elinchrom’s Eye-Cell feature detects camera red-eye pre-flash as some cameras may respond and release a flash with the first pre-flash of the camera spoiling your shot
• Charge Ready Beep can be customised from short to long beep signals.The acoustical signal length can be set from 70 to 490 milliseconds
• EL-Skyport wireless triggering & remote control allows the changing of flash power settings, or to switch the modelling lamp on and off. Please note using this feature requires the optional EL-Skyport Transmitter. Group and Channel Frequency settings can be customised on each BXRi unit
• Flash and modelling lamp power adjustments are normally set in 1/10th steps only per touch, these steps can be changed from 1/10th to 7/10th or to 1 f-stop.
• A Temperature controlled FAN switches the FAN ON and OFF automatically if the units temperature increases. The microprocessor controls the unit temperature and the fan

Portalite Softbox

• The new Portalite diffuser and black-silver tissue are the same quality materials which Elinca uses for Rotalux . The EL Speed-Ring and rods are re-designed and the resulting in a softbox with better stability while being easier to assemble. Fits to all Prolinca and Elinchrom flash units since 1974. Using third party accessories may not fit to required specifications
